Parco botanico Radicepura

The Radicepura Botanical Park, is a 5-hectare space with more than 3,000 species of plants, today a center of excellence for researchers, landscapers, green operators which hosts and organizes the Radicepura Garden Festival, a biennial of the Mediterranean landscape . A park that welcomes, pampers and frames a large event area.

Ancient and modern blend in a perfect balance.

The ancient area it is characterized by late 19th century architecture with typically Sicilian connotations: a noble palace to which is annexed the Palmento now renamed "Palmento del Padrino" in which the well-known director Francis Ford Coppola, enraptured by both the grandeur and the beauty, shot the scenes of the film The Godfather part two.

Undisputed protagonist of the modern area, the Tropical Greenhouse, a true jewel , both from a botanical and architectural point of view where Mediterranean and tropical species live and coexist inside, creating a unique setting. Outside, the Kenzie lawn, a large green space, surrounded by bodies of water that host aquatic plants, such as water lilies and lotus flowers, and which connect the modern terraces of the Palms.

At its inside it is possible to organize all kinds of events, a unique location not only in Sicily
