From the swimming pool with salt water and little chlorine, to the yoga lessons, from the organic products that can be purchased on site and on the online shop, to the restaurant cuisine.
The i Carusi estate was conceived with the utmost respect for the environment and with attention to nature at its centre. The spaces, the materials, the energy supplies, even the technological additions: everything in this structure is designed to be eco-sustainable and reduce environmental impact to a minimum. The estate of over six hectares, entirely surrounded by the uncontaminated nature of the Sicilian countryside, offers unforgettable natural views and serene moments of relaxation. The ideal place to take a break from the frenzy of everyday life. The building from which the bio relais originated was recovered from an ancient country house intended for the processing of almonds produced in the surrounding countryside. The boutique hotel enhances traditional materials, such as the soft stone of Noto, the light clay tiles and the hard limestone of Modica, which meet with contemporary elements and shapes and the most modern services. The property has five comfortable rooms and suites. Suite Fienile, Prickly Pear, Birds, are equipped with independent entrance, equipped with independent heating and air conditioning systems and equipped with spacious private bathrooms.
The Superior Ferrovia and Alchimia rooms are on a single floor. All accommodations have an outdoor space for private use, furnished with table and sofas to enjoy the quiet and colors of the Sicilian countryside. The Superior rooms can comfortably accommodate a family with two children, with the possibility of providing cots for the rest of the youngest guests. The rooms have a sober and minimalist style, are tastefully organised, often furnished with elements found during the renovation and restored.
The i Carusi restaurant offers simple or more elaborate recipes, but always original, made with zero kilometer raw materials: top quality ingredients, fresh and organic products collected in the field and brought to the kitchen to create dishes full of emotion. For lunch and dinner, immersed in nature, surrounded by its scents and sounds, you can choose between a fish-based menu and a meat-based one. As a third proposal, the highly appreciated vegetarian menu: the maximum expression of zero kilometer food, an unforgettable culinary experience.
